PpFYKApgW : PatI fully agree with your comments. Most small busnseises do not have the layers to implement the procedures. I have a small business employing c. 10 people and am in constant contact with each member of staff. Issues are dealt with immediately, as and when they arise. It would be most onerous for me to try and document all my dealings with my staff.The legislation should be as pragmatic as possible, user friendly and even tailored to different sizes of organisations just as audits are now only required for large companies. It goes without saying that employee rights should be protected but so should employer rights and each have their obligations.
